Summary
I would like to thank you for your interest in the position of Site Supervisor at Woodlea Junior School.
The successful applicant will join our dynamic team in supporting our children and staff to work in a maintained setting that reflects our high standards across their learning and development environment.
It is an exciting time to join our school on its next stage of growth and development, where we continue to strive at all times to provide the best education for the children we teach, allowing them to achieve; personally, socially and academically.
We see your role being integral in this as you will be a visible presence in and around school at key times and responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and health and safety of Woodlea Junior School.
The role is term time only (39 weeks) plus an additional 4 weeks, which will facilitate work during school closures.
Woodlea Junior School is an above average-sized school with 249 children on roll. The school serves a mixed and challenging catchment area. Our children are taught in 8 classes; two per year group, which are mixed ability.
Children at Woodlea benefit from being part of a school community where they feel secure, valued and cared for. Our children enjoy opportunities to study a wide, varied and rich curriculum.
The wider community includes supportive parents and governors, who are knowledgeable, supportive and play an active role within the life of the school.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
Commitment to gaining Level 3 qualification in Caretaking
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Caretaking or equivalent
