The Role
This is a key member of the Lakeland Commercial Team, helping to shape the future of the business.

It will help to drive a customer and data centric culture across the wider organisation, by continually driving improvements and efficiency through turningour wealth of data into actionable insights and recommendations.


The role is part of a new team and you will be instrumental in delivering high quality insight, reporting and analytics using a range of data sources and software.

This role has one direct report and sits within the Insight & Customer Marketing team, witha dotted line into the Head of IT and manages the relationship with our data science partner agency.


About You
You'll be a data expert, able to interrogate, interpret and synthesise information about customers, products, on-site experience and marketing.

You will be a confident communicator, able to present the story behind the numbers to enable the business to makedata driven decisions.

You'll have an advanced level of numeracy and analytical capability and proven experience in providing commercial insights.

You'll be able to work with different data sources and be hands on in extracting data, intellectually curiouswith a high problem solving drive.

Able to think on your feet and manage your own workload and meet deadlines, you'll enjoy working in a fast paced retail environment where there is always lots going on.

You'll be happy working independently whilst also enjoyingbeing part of a team, sharing information, knowledge & experience freely and building and maintaining positive relationships.
