Description

JTC Furniture Group are a leading manufacturer of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture. We currently have an opening in our Transport department for a van driver.

Main duties

Deliver goods to customers as required
Loading and unloading of vehicles on Company and customer premises
Uplifting goods from site when required
Completing necessary paperwork as required
Customer contact/service

Requirements:

Qualifications;_
Clean and current UK driver's licence essential
Valid CSCS card would be advantageous
Experience_
2 years+ experience in a similar position
Experience of heavy lifting and manual handling
A full understanding of Health and Safety procedures
Critical skills/competencies_
Highly motivated and confident in own ability
Good communication skills
Ability to deal with people at all levels
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in a team
Ability to prioritise
Personal attributes/qualities_
Ability to use own initiative
Self motivated
Able to work with mínimal supervision
Good attention to detail
Reliable and trustworthy
Able to do repetitive work
Excellent attendance and time keeping
Friendly disposition
Neat with professional presentation
Flexible with regards to working hours
Willing to work away from home when required (eg over night delivery trips)
