Role Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage staff teams, providing guidance, training, and support in daytoday operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in handling different learning difficulties, such as autism, Down syndrome, and intellectual disabilities, particularly in a supported living environment.
  • Develop and implement effective Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Create contingency plans for emergencies and oversee their implementation as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and effectiveness in handling challenging situations, including behavioral crises.
  • Ensure compliance with HR procedures and regulatory requirements in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders to optimize care and support for individuals with LD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proven experience within the field of learning disabilities, preferably in supported living.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff teams.
  • Resilient and dynamic approach in managing staff and client interactions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various learning difficulties and their management.
  • Skilled in creating and implementing PBS plans and contingency measures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Understanding of HR procedures, safeguarding practices, and CQC regulatory standards in care settings.

Salary:
Competitive, based on experience


Pay:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
