Software Test Engineer | Hereford | Up to £40,000 | Hybrid working (2 days per week remote)

Yolk Recruitment is working with an expanding Satellite communications software provider based in Hereford looking to grow their engineering function due to new demand.

They're looking for an experience Test Analyst to join their Test function. You will be working to ensure product integrity using a customer centric approach. the role is split between automated & manual testing.

They operate hybrid working with 2 days per week remote available.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop test plans for new and existing software products, considering use and abuse cases.
Comprehensive software testing of all interfaces of company products. This includes the physical HMI, in addition to Web UI and M2M interfaces.
Conduct Vulnerability Scans and Penetration testing of new products, including forming specific injection attacks based on white box product knowledge.
Surveillance of CVE and analysis of applicability to existing products.

Skills Required:

Experience testing a variety of software products & systems.
Split exposure with manual & automated testing.
Experience with at least 1 automated test framework (selenium, cypress, cucumber etc).
Exposure to at least 1 scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python etc.)
