Theatre Royal Plymouth is seeking an Assistant Director for our People's

Company Platform Event:
_Of This Place_. This will be performed in the Drum on Thursday 6th July and Friday 7th July 2023.

The People's Company are looking to showcase local emerging local writers and performers for a new platform event.

Looking to showcase writers of all ages, this event will provide an opportunity for five scripts to be developed with support from writers Babs Horton, Laura Horton and Mich Sanderson.

The chosen scripts will be rehearsed with a company of actors over June, in collaboration with director Stephanie Kempson and an Assistant Director.

You must be available for the following rehearsals/performance dates:

Rehearsals:

Thursday 15th June 5:30pm-8:30pm

Friday 16th June 5:30pm-8:30pm

Friday 23rd June 5:30pm-8:30pm

Thursday 29th June 5:30pm-8:30pm

Friday 30th June 5:30pm-8:30pm

Monday 3rd July 10pm-4pm

Tuesday 4th July TBC

Wednesday 5th July TBC

Performance:

Thursday 6th July TBC

Friday 7th July TBC

Please note that this is a Freelance position with a Freelance Fee of £ Therefore, you will be responsible for your own tax and national insurance contributions and must have a unique tax reference number.
