This South London Authority are looking for three Qualified Occupational Therapists to work within their Adults Team.

Details of the role are:

Working on a varied caseload, OTs at the Council will have the opportunity to develop their skills and work using a strengths based approach in order to achieve the best outcomes for our residents.

This role entails working within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out assessments using a person centred and strengths based approach, the aim is to promote engagement in valued occupation, prevent, reduce and delay a person's need for long term services,improving the adult's wellbeing

The purpose of the Occupational Therapist role within the service is to assess the needs of people living with disability and deliver OT interventions which improve wellbeing and quality of life, maximising independence and supporting carers.

It would be beneficial, but not essential for you to have experience recommending major adaptations and in complex moving and handling and the associated risk assessments.

A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification (BSc/MSc Occupational Therapy or DipCOT equivalent)
Be HCPC registered
Be eligible to work within the UK
