Role Overview

We have a fascinating opportunity for a Testing Engineer to help support the setup of the test environment and perform environmentcoordination duties, within this impressive provider of Financial Market Infrastructure.

What will I be doing?
As the Technical Test Engineer, you will be working closely with the Technical Test expert, to help deliver the following:

The setup and governance of the new test environment infrastructure and test environment management processes.
Perform environment coordination tasks and support the development squads with environment related queries.
Contribute to the defining of new environment infrastructure set up and the creation of supporting documentation
Coordination of the platform test environment preparation (build / refresh)
Maintenance of the Test Environment schedule
Environment impact assessment of communicated infrastructure change e.g., security patches
Provide stakeholders with environment impact assessment
Reviews/analyse environment issue trends
Communicates weekly test schedule to support teams
Communicates environment priority to support teams
Analysis and identify technical test requirements for infrastructure projects.

Most important skills required

Recent commercial experience of providing technical test expertise with a focus on managing environments, ideally within a financial services entity.
Ability to setup test environments, and improve and govern test environment management processes
