Papa John's is looking for a Driver to join our team in Glastonbury

Responsibilities:


  • Transport finished goods and raw materials to customers or to production facilities, keeping track of and picking up customer orders.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Comply with traffic rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of deliveries and maintain inventory.
  • Follow DOT regulations

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a related trade program is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a driver is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions or violations.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must pass preemployment drug test; background check.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£10.42-£12.00 per hour
