Aspect Housing Ltd is a small business in NON_PROFIT_ASSOCIATION in Birmingham. We are focused and dedicated to providing supported accommodation for the homeless.

We provide accommodation to vulnerable adults Here at Aspect; we are committed to providing support to individuals and the local community.


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser with in-depth knowledge of registering social housing and excellent networking skills to join our organization.

As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting our social housing initiatives by identifying and securing funding opportunities from various sources.

Your expertise in navigating the intricacies of registering social housing projects will be essential to the success of our organization in providing affordable and sustainable housing solutions to those in need.


Qualifications/ Experience:


  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nonprofit management, social work, urban planning, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, specifically within the context of social housing projects. Familiarity with registering social housing initiatives will be a significant advantage.
  • Networking Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with charities, government agencies, and stakeholders in the social housing sector.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling grant proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Knowledge of

Social Housing:

Solid understanding of social housing policies, regulations, and initiatives, as well as the challenges and opportunities within the sector.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple fundraising activities and deadlines effectively.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with crossfunctional teams.

Duties:


  • Fundraising Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and social housing objectives.
  • Identifying Funding Sources: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including government grants, foundations, corporate charities, and individual contributors, with a specific focus on those supporting social housing initiatives.

Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential charities, government agencies, foundations, and other stakeholders within the social housing sector.

Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to expand the organization's reach and visibility.

  • Managing Existing charities Relationships: Nurture relationships with existing charities, ensuring timely communication of project updates, impact reports, and expressions of gratitude for their support.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on the latest regulations and compliance requirements related to social housing projects and funding sources to ensure the organization's adherence to all legal obligations.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the finance and program teams to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately and utilized effectively for social housing projects.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor fundraising progress, prepare reports on fundraising activities, and provide updates to the management team and directors.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

From £12.00 per hour
