Transport Coordinator | Full time | Based on Customer's Site | Thatcham

Join us as our Transport Coordinator for maternity cover within our Transport Team. In this role you will deliver the transport operational coordination for the depot. You will ensure that all operational activities are undertaken in a safe, legal and cost-effective manner.


THE SALARY
Up to £27,500.00 per annum, depending on experience.

SHIFT INFORMATION:

Core office hours are Monday to Friday.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Producing costefficient operational transport plans.
  • Daily facetoface interaction with customers, management & warehouse personnel.
  • Working unsupervised, managing time and prioritising work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Data Input and use of computer systems.
  • Making bookings in for deliveries to customers.
  • Ensure customer queries and issues are dealt with timely and in a professional manner.
  • Main point of contact for customers and depots for delivery queries.
  • Producing optimal transport plans and approving transport routes.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths.

Experience. Previous administration experience. Experience of Windows 10 in a business capacity.

Communication. Excellent communication skills. An approachable attitude. A can do attitude with a flexible approach.

Influence & Persuasion. Good attention to detail. A team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A methodical and structured approach to problem solving.

People & Self Development. You will have a keen approach towards self-development.
