Kingdom Academy have an excellent opportunity for a
Housing Tutor (Work based Learning) to join our established and successful team.


Where:
This is Blended delivery role with home working and travel to Leeds and other venues as required.**
When: We're looking to get the right person in to the team
ASAP

Salary:
£36,000.00 per annum.


Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

09:00 am - 17:00 pm.


Kingdom Academy is a national training provider which supports businesses in training and apprenticeships.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • Responsibility for delivering housing workshops to learners on apprenticeship programmes and commercial courses.
  • Prepare and deliver workshops (face to face or remotely using Microsoft teams).
  • Assess learner work.
  • Able to selfmanage, get learners through the programme in a timely way and meet Kingdom Academy Key Performance Indicators.
  • Produce reports as required.

The successful applicant will match the below skill set:

  • Competent at using Microsoft Packages including excel and Teams.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator at all levels.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Process and compliance driven.
  • Able to manage a busy workload, organised and has a proactive and flexible approach to working.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with learners, employers and members of the Kingdom Academy and Group Services.
  • Ability to motivate learners.
  • Work independently with the minimum of supervision.

Professional qualifications & licences (holding or working towards a distinct advantage)

  • TAQA (L3 Assessor qualification or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training minimum teaching qualification requirement.
  • Level 5 CIH Diploma.
  • A full fiveyear checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance.
  • GCSE English and Maths (Essential).

Experience

  • Working in an adult education environment.
  • Use of learner management systems.
  • Delivery of regulated housing qualifications.
  • Preparing and delivering workshops to learners.
  • Experience of delivering engaging and interactive workshops remotely using Microsoft Teams (Desirable).
  • Assessing learner work.
