Job Description:


Overall requirement & purpose

  • This role is offered as a 1year Fixed Term Contract Role and is as the Interim D365 Product Owner
  • Lead the Service and Support for Dynamics 365 Finance and operations including functional support, change & release management, incident management, business intelligence, access management and management of the interfaces
  • Management and analysis of the tickets generated for D36
  • Manage the integrations with other systems to ensure they remain available and accurately exchange data with D36
  • Work with our SMEs across the business to build help and knowledge articles to ensure that selfhelp is available for all our business processes
  • Manage the patching and servicing of D365 including testing, change and release management
  • Partake in the the management of the relationships with the system integrator, Microsoft and any ISV solutions Turner & Townsend uses and build key KPIs to manage such 3rd parties.
  • Problem solves solutions for issues arising in a timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for the overall release programme and ensuring that this doesn't conflict with any businesscritical activities.

Responsibilities

Service Management:

  • Guardian of the production environment and overseeing changes made to the production environment are agreed, approved and controlled
  • Management of the D365 Update process including agreeing the version updates we will take, timing of the updates, ensuring updates are tested and applied with minimum disruption and that T&T take advantage of new and optional features where appropriate
  • Leading the global service and support team responsible for support and maintenance of D365 F&O including:
  • Management of incidents in the live D365 F&O environment, and the related reporting environment
  • Management of the BAU change process
  • Management of access management processes
  • Responsible for the relationship with the managed service team
  • Support hyper care for new regions/entities moving onto D36
  • Maintenance and improvement of the D365 training materials
  • Continuous improvement of D365 F&O
  • Management of configuration changes and defect resolution through use of team, 3rd party project teams and managed service

Team Management:

  • Day to day management and setting the overall direction and priorities to team of 6 people
  • Responsible for ensuring that tickets are assigned, allocated, resolved and closed with end user in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the ongoing professional development of the team
  • Responsible for objective setting and performance management of the team

Compliance:

  • Responsible for the ongoing operation of SOx ITGCs, ITACs and IT dependencies in D36
  • Agreeing and implementing solutions for any new SOx/compliance requirements

Roadmap and continuous improvement:

  • Understand T&T business processes and issues, provide solutions and recommendations for enhancements
  • Consulted and engaged with Microsoft

Qualifications:


Essential Skills

  • Management of teams and being able to set clear direction in an everchanging landscape.
  • Demonstrable experience of the implementation and management of IT Controls in a SOX regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and maintaining an ERP environment.
  • Functional and configuration knowledge would be advantageous

Key Requirements

  • 3 Years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations support experience (or similar ERP covering similar processes:)
  • General ledger, AP, AR, Sales and Marketing and Project Management and accounting modules
  • Experience in working and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with Power BI
