We are seeking a brilliant Senior Policy Advisor to join and play a key role in our thematic team on Climate and Sustainability Policy.



The role


Systems approaches and the ability to link multiple disciplines and perspectives are all needed to address the unprecedented challenges that societies are facing globally.

This role will develop and lead core components of the Academy's policy work utilising engineering knowledge and skills to improve climate and sustainability policies, including building specialist knowledge in a sub-area of policy, preferably on energy decarbonisation.

Building on the team's track record of work on decarbonisation, it will play an instrumental role in identifying and shaping areas where the engineering community can make a unique contribution to policy development and delivery across a range of climate and sustainability priorities.

Location


Our light, spacious offices are based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James's Park and close to the West End.

We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline 2 days a week in the office.
