Description

Data Security Manager required for a global Insurer to support their growing Data and Analytics function.

This role needs someone who has experience in IT change and overall, a rounded person to spot the gaps around IT processes, managing stakeholders on a day-to-day basis and bringing in strong negotiation allowing you to hit the ground running.

This is an opportunity to work within a newly formed team led by the Group Chief Data Officer. You will also have the opportunity to lead several greenfield initiatives.

With this role comes the vital need to implement data security controls efficiently and securely.

Your responsibilities -

Take end to end ownership of Data Controls projects within the business.
Ensure the products are compliant with relevant regulations, depending on business jurisdiction.
Manage Security, Compliance and Risk requirements by developing effective roadmaps.
Think outside the box to identify and highlight gaps in IT processes and technologies.

Requirements -

This role requires a strong Project Manager who has had experience in Data Security and is able to translate the project's task in a clear manner.
High level understanding of TOGAF, NIST, ISO 27K, GDPR.
Be able to demonstrate clear leadership values which allow you to influence change across a set of diverse Stakeholders.
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies.
Being able to see the gaps around IT process and essentially connect the dots.
