We are looking for a proficient Sales and Purchasing Assistant to provide support, and to contribute towards the efficient running of both the Sales and Purchasing department and the business.


Sales and Purchasing Assistant Job Description

  • Processing sales orders
  • Processing job packs for production
  • Updating the production schedule relating to new and existing orders
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Organising transport including export deliveries
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Answering phone calls
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Liaising with production/warehouse for goods in/out
  • Issuing out raw materials
  • Stock take
  • General office administrative tasks

The successful applicant must have

  • Previous experience in a sales and administrative role
  • Sage Line 50 experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft excel skills
  • The ability to work in a team and individually
  • Ideally import/export experience
  • Previous experience in Planning and Scheduling
