Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking FM engineer / operative inspections at their place of work.
- Assisting project teams and managers, advising on best practice and improvements where necessary.
- Reporting on the findings of inspections and issue close outs.
- Producing statistical summary data on inspection findings.
- Assisting with safety risk assessments, method statements, and associated documentation.
- Investigating and reporting on accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Presenting Company inductions and toolbox talks.
- Supporting the completion of PQQs, accreditations and client assessments.
Required Skills and qualifications:
- A recognised safety qualification, ideally NEBOSH or NVQ.
- A sound working knowledge of the construction industry and best practice within it.
- Good IT and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A firstrate moral compass, determination, and robustness.
- Willingness to learn.
- A UK driving licence a company vehicle will be provided.
Desirable Skills include:
- Some knowledge of quality and environmental management systems.
- Membership of IOSH
