Description

Thank you for your interest in the post of Learning Officer with Historic Environment Scotland, based at HES offices Edinburgh.

This is a fixed term and pensionable appointment to 14 April 2025.


You will contribute to the delivery of our national programmes portfolio through project management of two key learning projects and support the wider team with delivery of informal activities.

You will be based in the Learning and Inclusion (L&I) Team sits within the Outreach and Learning Function.

Our aim is to inspire and support practitioners, educators, communities and learners to see the historic environment as a national resource that's there for them and can be used creatively to meet their needs.

We do this by supporting access, creating engaging content and delivering projects and programmes inspired by our sites, collections, archives and expertise.

Working in partnership is key to achieving this and enables us to target groups who'd not normally have an opportunity to engage with heritage.
