Luxury Hotel Management are in the process of refurbishing and developing hotels and resorts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our small team, working within the Whitby and Lincoln area.
You will be responsible for working with our designers and managing the purchasing and fitout for our resort and hotel accommodation.
The role will entail completing projects in operating hotels and therefore, you should have confidence in a customer facing environment, where good communication skills are essential.
Job Description:
- Assisting in the planning, budgeting and scheduling of refurbishment works
- Sourcing and procurement of products, for example; fittings, furniture, lighting, fabrics
- Liaising with numerous suppliers, controlling the delivery of goods and ensuring goods arrive on time
- Monitoring and controlling on site refurbishment works, taking responsibility for the final fit out
- Liaising with other members of the team and hotel management
- Monitor and control of budgets
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and finished to a high quality
Skills and Qualities:
- Selfmotivated and enthusiastic
- A problemsolving mindset
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask, as projects will run concurrently
- Able to control budgets and negotiate with suppliers
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be able to drive and willing to travel
