Description
This Nursery provides childcare for children aged from
3 months to 5 years old. Providing them with educational and fun learning and development activities. They offer both full and part time day care, catering to
individual requirements of each child.

This setting believes, each child is an individual, learning and developing at their own pace, with needs particular to them and acts accordingly in order to provide the best care.


A Nursery is somewhere safe and nurturing where a child can take those first important steps in their development: walking; toilet training; talking; counting. All whilst being supported by highly trained staff who deeply care how each child is progressing.

This
setting is supportive of both children and staff to provide the best tailored care. They have
organised structures for how the day is organised and offer a range of extra curricular activities.

With different rooms that are organised based on age and an outdoor space there is always new opportunity's for staff and the children.


The main responsibilities of this job role will include:


  • Working towards
    Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
  • Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns
    whilst having fun.
  • Being a team player.

Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children:


  • Taking part in First Aid training as required
  • Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
  • Working with teams across the nursery setting

Supporting children's learning and development
:


  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
  • Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
  • Supporting children's selfhelp needs.

Being creative and enthusiastic.

  • Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Providing innovative and
    stimulating activities to each child.
  • Preparing the children for primary school.
  • Following the
    Early Years curriculum to aid in child development

Job Types:

Salary:

£5.28 per hour

  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
