We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, confident, and organised Research Repository and Research Data Officer to join the Research Data & Systems team at the University of Lincoln.

The main role of the repository officer is to work with our researchers to understand their data-related needs and to work out solutions, including the depositing of research data and publications in the institutional repository in order to comply with institutional and funder requirements.

The post-holder will work closely with another repository officer, be integrated in a very supportive team and work collaboratively with colleagues in the Library and across Schools and Colleges.

Acting as the first point of contact for academic colleagues looking to gain familiarity with the research data repository and Open Access rules, you will keep abreast of developments in the field of Open Access, prepare training materials, deliver workshops, and update portal pages with relevant information.

Whilst experience in the field of research data management and/or scholarly publications is desirable, this post might be of interest to those who understand research and researchers' needs regarding data and publications and are looking to develop specialist knowledge once in post.

Development within the role will be offered and there will be ample opportunities to engage with the sector and advance your career in the area of scholarly publications and research data management
