Vehicle Fleet Officer (Test Services & Site Facilities) - JP

Pay Rate:
£16.33/hr PAYE

To start ASAP - 12 months assignment

Automotive OEM

Description
Own the administration process for vehicle fleet management, to include:

  • Precise tracking of all vehicles assigned to site (500+)
  • Record vehicles arriving and departing
  • Report key performance indicator information internally and to head office in a timely manner
  • Learn the bespoke systems required to fulfil the role
  • Liaise with head office and internal customers on a daily basis regarding vehicle numbers/locations etc to ensure records are levelled at both sites
  • Identify opportunities to reduce the vehicle fleet and continually work with internal customers to manage fleet vs parking space
  • General administration duties for the Test team.

Deliverables

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
  • Demonstrate that test vehicles are being managed in accordance with the section KPIs
  • Extensive use of Excel to provide reports and data
  • Ensure a strong relationship with service providers is maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service to support projects.

Qualifications, Skills and Training Requirements

  • Strong experience of vehicle management/logistics and a desire to own fleet management
  • Experience of a busy office environment
  • Strong background in administration
  • Excellent organisational & communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive 'can do' flexible attitude
  • Be able to manage and prioritise own workload
  • Fully proficient in Excel data management and producing graphs
  • A good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for report writing & presentation preparation
  • Flexibility
