About the role


We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Operations Associate to play a central role in supporting the CPI UK team.


Reporting directly into the Senior Operations Associate, this role will provide critical administrative and operational support to the CPI UK director and wider team.

Roles and responsibilities

The Junior Operations Associate will perform internal and external operations tasks including but not limited to:

Office administration:

  • Oversee the day to day UK Office functions, including managing office supplies and ensuring a safe a welcoming workplace.
  • First point of contact for all office queries
  • Processing all CPI UK invoicing for office, benefits, legal, and other local vendors

Administrative Support:

  • Act as first point of contact for all UK operational processes queries including timesheets and expenses
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the UK office director, including travel, schedule coordination / management, expense processing, and special projects as required
  • Maintain vendor/suppliers database and subscriptions management for UK office.
  • Assist with internal and external events planning and coordination including team celebrations when required
  • Adhoc travel support at peak periods, managing and documenting staff travel insurance policy
  • Provide support to the US offices during busy periods

HR Administration:

  • Draft, edit, and update job descriptions under direction as needed.
  • Advertising vacancies on our website and Job Boards
  • Interview scheduling
  • Reference checking
  • Support with Onboarding new joiners, including IT equipment and system log ins
  • Benefit Administration including enrollment and staff queries
  • Maintain UK employee data on internal HRIS (BambooHR) to ensure accurate and up to date.

Essential:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential for this role
  • You are detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • You are an excellent writer and communicator;
  • You are willing to ask for help;
  • You enjoy working with others;

  • You are flexible and willing to jump into tasks as needed;
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is required.

Beneficial:

  • Experience (including voluntary) working in notforprofit operations, administration or programmes;
  • Experience working in consulting and/or matrixed organizations;
Position Details

CPI is recruiting for one full time position to be based in our London office. CPI has adopted hybrid working whereby staff are able to work a mix of remote and in the office.

The salary range for this position is £27,000 to £32,000 per annum.

CPI also offers a highly competitive benefits package which includes a generous 401(k) contribution and PTO provision.
