Value Match are supporting a
Public Sector Client who are seeking to appoint a
Commercial Officer. This role is
INSIDE IR35 with a maximum day rate of
£400 -contract running until August 2024(extension possible).

This role is based at
hybrid with 1-3 day a week in the London Office.


The role will involve engaging with legal and senior advice, working with others teams and managing any litigation relating to this.

Good attention to detail and honed communication and engagement skills to explain, clarify and articulate policy and legal position to a wide audience are important.


The role involves:


  • Working closely with the Government Legal Department to provide policy input to live legal cases, and manage risks
  • Ensuring good information management practices, to help prepare for legal cases.
  • Ensuring coherence of outputs with Policy, Casework and Secretariat teams.
  • Keeping track of key deadlines as part of a busy portfolio and prioritising within this, to ensure MOD equities are protected
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build good working relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and being reliable in follow these through to conclusion.
  • Good drafting skills which the role will help improve and close attention to detail
  • Experienced in gathering required documentation and fact finding.
  • Familiar with redaction and pulling required information from the source system.
  • Policy support experience.

Temporary contract

Contract length: 4 months


Salary:
£350.00-£400.00 per day
