Workshop Supervisor - Stirling, United Kingdom - Russell Taylor Group
Description
Russell Taylor Group requires a permanent workshop supervisor for Stirling.Duties will include:
- Liaise with office staff regarding staff/materials/equipment needed within the workshop**:
- Manage all welders/fabricators within the workshop**:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the workshop
- Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to workshop staff
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols in the workshop
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Experience in assembling and disassembling machinery or equipment
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
Overtime available throughout the week and weekends
