Progressive Engineering and a Global Engineering Innovator in Nuclear Engineering are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Manager for their Engineering & Manufacturing UK HQ near Wolverhampton, West Midlands, owing to significant business growthand project pipeline for

Qualification & Experience Required for Mechanical Design Manager role:

  • Demonstrable prior experience as a Mechanical Design Manager or Principal Engineer and of delivering full-lifecycle design projects to time, spec and budget
  • Prior experience of leading and developing Engineering Teams as a Mechanical Design Manager or Principal Engineer
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Prior mechanical design experience within a regulated industry (such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Mining, Process Industry, Aerospace, etc).
  • Conversant with 3D CAD Design software packages (including FEA Analysis Software)
  • Experience of Concept Design through to Manufacturing Documentation Production, Verification via testing and installation design activities.
  • Conversant with British and European Technical and Legislative standards
