Job Scope and Main Responsibilities


A Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance, and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered.


A store manager is expected to improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership, and development of the people in their team.

As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador the store manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the store's daytoday operations.
  • Ensure all KPI targets and expectations are delivered.
  • Ensure costs are kept to a minimum and stock loss is in within company guidelines.
  • Regularly analyses sales performance, maximising strengths and reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement
  • To follow all company policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of the business
  • Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of and be knowledgeable of competitor activity
  • Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge
  • Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines
  • Ensuring that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercially focused
  • Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in store
  • Create an engaging and positive working environment
  • Establish a store culture that embraces diversity and maximises the learnings from a diverse team
  • Lead store team to deliver brand story and Sunglass culture through effective store management
  • Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
  • Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
