One of Exeter's most prestigious, modern, flexible and forward-thinking law firms are looking for an experienced Property Paralegal to join their team.

This role can be based in either Exeter or Bristol and will be focused on work relating to Farms, Estatesand Rural Land.

The role will involve working closely with some key national clients, who require someone to carry out work, which involves a mix of commercial and rural property work for private clients, landed estates and banks.

This work will mainly betransactional, however, there will also be an opportunity to pick up on some litigious work from time to time.

Responsibilities will include:


  • Providing a highquality paralegal support on a wide variety of Farm, Estates and Rurual Land transactional matters.
  • Running your own simple transactional files and assist senior fee earners on highvalue and/or complex transactional matters.
  • Reviewing/collating electronic data and preparing files, including supporting Lawyers with opening and closing files in a timely manner
  • Supporting others in the team with any specific business development and marketing activities to develop client work and fee income as part of supporting the business and strategic plans.
  • Ensuring appropriate quality service and compliance for all matters in accordance with agreed standard policies.

Skills and experience sought:


  • Previous Paralegal experience (or similar) is a must
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • A highly credible persona and a commercial awareness
