We need a Content Coordinator to initially look after multi-client content aggregation service. This is currently a Mon-Fri based role, though will involve Saturdays on a rotational basis.


About this opportunity


The Content Coordinator will be responsible for managing distributors sending us content inbound, managing the content processing pipeline which includes transcode, human Quality Control and delivery to end point with metadata.

The Content Coordinator will manage both customer communications day-to-day and the team of operators will be processing the content through the workflow.


It is a pivotal role, and you would need to show operational leadership and judgement as you decide whether content should be rejected back to the distributor or whether it meets our customers' specifications.


Reports to:
Platform Operations Manager.


What you will do

  • Take care of all client communication between vendors, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Constantly maintaining high standards of communication.
  • Ensuring the teams Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Inputting and rectifying work orders into our inhouse system.
  • Placing orders with distributors and vendors and on boarding new clients.
  • Prioritising and delegating content for quality checking to the Media Operators according to differing deadlines.
  • Working directly with the Platform Operations Manager to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Dealing with all internal and external file rejections.
  • Circulating weekly reports within the company.
  • Managing the distribution of content to our client.
  • Downloading and uploading content using various platforms (FTP, Media Shuttle, etc...)
  • Transcoding and Quality Checking content.
  • Working with the Production Team to offer assistance & support.
  • Arranging edits, requesting transcodes and delivery of content via file and tape.
  • Using several different scheduling and workflow management software: uploading and downloading content.
  • Maintaining key manual tracking spreadsheets and documentation.
  • Resilience and stamina shown in sustaining performance when under pressure from a high volume of work and conflicting priorities
  • Prioritise conflicting workload efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when working to deadlines or changing priorities.
  • Operational training of QC staff where and when needed.

You will bring

  • Comfortable with technical troubleshooting for workflows, video and audio
  • Whilst the Content Coordinator is not an engineering role, the ability to grasp technical concepts and to connect with engineers effectively is essential.
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Ability to motivate different internal team to work together
  • Planning and Organisation
  • At least 2 years' experience of operatorlevel or edit assistantlevel workflow management and content processing
  • Should have some customer communication experience
  • Video and Audio quality experience and knowledge is essential
