Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, or other similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures
• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and layout of masonry work
• Measure and cut materials to the required size using hand tools or power tools
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the surfaces being worked on
• Use trowels, levels, and other tools to ensure the accuracy and levelness of the masonry work
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a brick mason or similar role
• Proficient in working with hand tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, chisels, etc.
• Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
• Good problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills:

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, chisels, etc.
• Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings
• Experience with power tools used in masonry work such as saws or drills
• Basic carpentry skills for framing or finishing tasks
• Welding skills for metalwork associated with masonry projects
