Planner/Scheduler - Future Build Recruitment - Waltham Abbey


Future Build are currently searching for a reliable Planner/Scheduler to work with a main contractor as part of their planned maintenance division works alongside housing associations and local authorities up and down the country to provide essential maintenance services for residents in their properties.


The role of Planner / Scheduler is an essential part of the team - your role coordinates our mobile workforce to ensure jobs are booked with the relevant tradesperson in a timely manner and that we're delivering excellent customer service to residents and leaseholders.


This will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all tenants regarding any planned maintenance to their property or defects to the block
  • Diagnosing repairs accurately
  • Booking appointments on the inhouse system
  • Liaising with engineers ensuring that they have all the relevant information and materials to successfully carry out the repair
  • Liaising with customers to advise of appointments or delays and updates on followon works
  • Planning / scheduling of work for both operative and subcontractors as well as daily emergency work

Criteria:


  • This position requires somebody with excellent organisation skills and a good eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, often pressurised environment.
  • Ideally have prior experience as a Planner / Scheduler for a main contractor
  • Excellent communication skills able to liaise effectively at all levels and build up good working relationship with customers
  • A genuine interest in helping customers at all levels
  • Good observation skills, with attention to detail, calm and professional approach
  • Ability to work equally well alone using initiative or effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work to tight timelines with good decisionmaking skills

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
