Examination Invigilator - Job Description

Reports to:
Examinations Officer

Job purpose:

To supervise students during examinations and to ensure that examination conditions are adhered to in accordance with relevant procedures, school policies and regulations.

Working pattern:

Casual Working Agreement - Hours of work will be occasional and variable, as required during the examination seasons.

Salary:

£11.50 per hour

Main responsibilities and duties:

To set up examinations rooms signage, name cards, equipment and exam papers
To help organise students at the start and end of each exam
To provide the correct information and material for successful completion of the exam
To ensure that the conduct of the exam takes place within the appropriate guidelines, policies and regulations
To sort examination scripts and prepare for despatch
To assist in the supervision of clash students
To provide general assistance and support to the Examinations Officer
