New role - Technical IFRS Manager, London / hybrid
Up to £72k depending on experience

We're delighted to be partnering with a fast growing and independent financial services provider in the recruitment of a Technical IFRS Manager to be based in their London Office.

A further part of the role will be to understand accounting system requirements to allow our client to deliver quality output to their clients and continue its market leading service to its clients.

The role

As Technical Manager you will be accountable for:

Ensuring that consistently high level of support provided to the Client Services teams and business performance are aligned to achieve commercially viable results
Provide excellent levels of client service in line with company standards, procedures, and guidelines
Develop and uphold a positive, strong, commercial, and compliant culture within your business unit
Technical Accounting support resolve technical accounting queries, key accounting/ operational treatments
Attending client calls/meetings and internal accounting managers meeting and resolving accounting queries/issues and providing appropriate treatment.
Assist in liaising with Auditors and provide annual accounting standard updates to the Client Services teams
Technical reviews complex financial statements reviews, management fee computation, capital call and distribution computations
Carry/ Fund modelling carried interest models, fund cashflow forecasting models preparation and advise
Value Financials / Caseware system administration
Provide accounting training to the Client Services teams
AIFMD technical support review of Annex IV reporting and advise on adhocAIFMD queries
To assist client facing teams to maintain an accurate and high standard of client reporting records
Participation in internal and client project in the capacity of Technical Manager
Assist on updating or enhancing Accounting Procedure Manual and Accounting Checklistsetc

About you

Demonstrable skills for technical accounting / accounting standards are key as is a broad and deep knowledge of accounting GAAPs/Standards (IFRS/US/UK/LuxGAAP)
A comprehensive and detailed understanding and knowledge of current industry and accounting legislation, regulation & working practices is required
