Job Title:
Associate Transport Planner


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the establishment and growth of a new transport planning department, working with autonomy and full support from company directors.
  • Drive business development by prospecting new clients, fostering relationships, and contributing to the overall strategic growth.
  • Provide leadership, management, and technical oversight for the transport planning team.
  • Act as Project Manager for consultancy services, ensuring timely and budgetcompliant project delivery.
  • Mentor and supervise staff, offering proactive advice for problemsolving.
  • Utilize technical expertise in transport software packages, AutoCAD, and vehicle tracking software.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and drawings, maintaining high technical standards.

Requirements:


  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chartered Transport Planner.
  • Chartered Engineer status with relevant professional institution.
  • Broad technical expertise in transport consultancy, including diverse industry sectors.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment on multidisciplined projects.
