Production Engineer Histon, Cambridgeshire £24.32 per hour

Your new company

You will be joining one of the UK's leading food companies who operate across the UK within chilled, frozen and ambient food and drink who have a vision to make it easier for everyone to life a healthier and more balance lifestyle.

They are now in a positionto recruit two Production Engineers to join their team.

Your new role
As a Production Engineer you will be working 12hr shifts on a rotation of days and nights.

You will be required to support Engineering, Production and all other site functions with ideas and initiatives to optimise efficiency and implement continuous improvementand similarly, implement action plans to address root cause of all failures.

In addition, you will be responsible for completing checks including start up, line set and routine maintenance in accordance with CMMS and PPM.

What you'll need to succeed

You will hold a HND/ HNC/NVQ/ C&G or be time served with relevant engineering qualifications with previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally with HACCP experience.
