Description

Competencies

  • University degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy and control technology and profound professional experience
  • Good knowledge in converter
- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls

  • Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including modelbased implementation and verification
  • Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S
  • Very good English language skills, German language skills are of advantage

Responsibilities

  • Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
  • Preparation of design specifications and documentation
  • Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
  • Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and realtime test environments
  • Remote support during commissioning and service of HVDC systems
