Description

The Department of Medical Education houses 2 education centres, one based at the John Radcliffe Hospital and one at the Horton General Hospital.


We have 2 Directors of Undergraduate Medical Education with whom the postholder will work closely with alongside the Medical Education Manager.

You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. Further details of the key relationships can be found in the job description.

The Trust comprises of four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

Help support the Co-Directors of Undergraduate Medicine Education and Medical Education Manager with the quality of clinical undergraduate placements.


This includes, but is not limited to:1 The induction and onboarding of medical students

2 The management of educational placements for medical students

3 Providing financial administration to monitor income and expenditure of undergraduate medical education funds and the flow of monies

4 Providing support to ensure quality assurance is maintained for all areas of work.
