Structural Engineerto join a growing team of Engineers and Technicians in Bath, working for a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

This consultancy loves involving its staff in key decisions that influence the business,no matter how junior.

As a result, they encourage people to have an opinion and express their ideas and thoughts on certain situations, which has created a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

You'll also have the chance to work on a huge range of projects in numerous sectors - Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Mixed-use, and many more Additionally, you'll be using different materials - steel, concrete, masonry, and timber, but there will bea particular focus on steel designs in the up-and-coming projects.

This variety keeps the role fresh and exciting, whilst also helping you gain the vital experience needed to meet Chartership core objectives.

This consultancy is always looking to provide CPD, with internal and external training, helping their staff progress toward career-related goals, or develop their knowledge within a certain field.

Requirements/Responsibilities - Structural Engineer

Developing detailed designs and preparing structural calculations
Analysing structural components
Liaising with other professionals to develop designs
Supporting other members of staff through their development
Contribute to design meetings and decision making
Working with autonomy to complete assigned project work
Undertake structural design of structures using current British Standards and Eurocodes
BEng/Meng in Construction/Civil Engineering
3 years postgraduate experience +
Sound understanding of relevant 3D design software/programs
