FC3 £22, £23, Pro Rata)

Work Pattern: 36 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 7.45am to 4pm; Friday, 7.45am to 1.00pm)

Supporting Statement
Bereavement Services is responsible for the provision of high standard burial and cremation services within Fife.

Working as part of a small or large team you will undertake a wide range of horticultural services in all weathers, including regular grass cutting, hedge cutting and cemetery duties within a
cemetery environment.

You should have experience in general gardening work, the use of gardening tools e.g.

strimmers, lawn mowers and hedge-cutters and be able to carry out work of a competitive nature on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities will also include the inspection of grass cutting machinery, cleaning of the machinery, and reporting of any defects.

The Person

You should have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a small or large team.

You should have a good understanding of health and safety in the use of hand-held or large machinery.

The individual must demonstrate behaviours that are sensitive to the environment they are working within and in particular how they interact with members of the public visiting cemeteries or crematoria.
