Zenith People are representing our client who are a High Volume Manufacturer in their search for a Maintenance Team Leader.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Maintenance Technicians working a Continental Shift Pattern.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager
Lead a Team of Shift Maintenance Technicians working continentals shifts
Liaise with the Shift Manager to understand shift targets and to gauge the best times to carry out planned maintenance
Delegate duties to technicians during the shift, prioritising tasks to ensure machinery runs smoothly and efficiently
Ensure breakdowns are dealt with as quickly as possible to reduce downtime
React to shift electrical and mechanical breakdowns
Have a Shift handover with previous and oncoming Shift Maintenance Team Leaders to discuss breakdowns, potential issues and tasks that need to be handed over.

Person Specifications:

Must be a time served Maintenance Engineer with the ability to deal with all Electrical Mechanical Faults that arise
Experience of leading and motivating a small team of technicians, with the ability to develop skillset
Experience of working within the food industry is desirable
Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills are essential
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.

Salary:
£44,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
