Senior Building Control Surveyor
37 hours per week
Salary range:
£48,424 - £56,617 (Inclusive of Market Supplements)

About you
We are seeking applicants with a good level of literacy, numeracy and strong IT skills; together with the ability to make clear concise and accurate decisions under pressure.
You will ideally be a member or working towards membership of RICS, CABE or CIOB, and a current full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes are required.
About the role
The Council aspire to provide a quality customer focussed service, have been QA accredited for a number of decades and you will be expected to work within this culture.
As with many Building Control jobs, the post will be mostly home based, with weekly office duty and daily site visits.
The primary duties of the post will be examination and determination of plans in accordance with KPI time periods, daily site inspections, enforcement of Building Regulations, attendance and management of dangerous structures and demolition sites.
