AECOM is the largest environmental consultancy in the United Kingdom and Ireland with over 1000 professional environmental specialists supporting AECOM's goal to deliver a better world, through effective environmental management and assessment.
We are looking to grow our Environmental team in Croydon and currently have an opportunity for an Apprentice to join us and work towards completing the Environmental Practitioner (Degree) Apprenticeship (Level 6) with either Brighton university or Kingston University on their day release programme.
The apprenticeship would be full time, with four days spent working at AECOM and one day per week spent on day release to Brighton or Kingston University.
Expenses incurred for travel to AECOM offices other than Croydon and for travel to University for the purposes of the Environmental Practitioner course will be covered by AECOM.
The successful applicant will work alongside architects, engineers, planners, economists, and other environmental specialists on a wide range projects for a variety of clients including power and energy, transport, industrial and commercial developers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The initial role of the successful apprentice will be to support and assist our Environmental a team in Croydon on a wide variety of projects both in the office and on site alongside the completion of their formal education.
The successful applicant would be based at AECOM's Croydon office (with the potential to visit other offices, including London and sites as and when required) as part of AECOM's UK&I Environment and Ground Engineering business.
Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:- Supporting project directors, managers and wider project teams in the delivery of projects, including environmental impact assessments;
