Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve specialty grade coffee
- Take customer orders and provide sociable customer service, applicant should enjoy making small chat
- Operate coffeemaking equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Weekly stock check with report
- Handle transactions and operate the til
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista is essential, including an ability dial in espresso and to pour basic latte art designs
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Applicant should be content working alone, the hours are entirely solo
- Basic knowledge of Esperanto preferred, but not essential
