The Company


A world leading engineering group who design, manufacture, and support sophisticated automated robotic equipment and machinery for use within the global electronics industries.

The Poole facility is the HQ for the Group, its operation is a blend of R&D,Manufacturing, Sales and Technical Support and Administration.


The Role


As Electro-Mechanical Service Engineer, you will join a team of 10 engineers and be responsible for providing support to customers and their equipment within the UK.

Role responsibilities:


  • Provide onsite equipment/machinery installation, validation, commissioning and service of equipment at client sites.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting, service and repairs
  • Provide onsite training to the customers
  • Assist with Trade Show activity
  • Communicate with internal work teams such as field engineers, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
  • Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement required actions
  • Attend future training courses on any of the company products

Hours:

37hrs per week - 8:30am - 5pm M-F


Person Specification

  • Relevant electromechanical qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Min 2 years' experience in a similar field based electromechanical service engineering job role
  • Good level of diagnostic abilities including, computer literacy, electromechanical & electronics knowledge using circuit diagrams and schedules
  • Strong fault finding experience
  • Good customer facing skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good team player
