Assist Services Group are looking for officers who have been previously or currently have the UK Governments Security Check (SC) Clearance.

We require SC cleared officers to work at a global technology giant who are providing services for the UK government.

We require officers of the highest calibre who understand what is required to work at a site that requires SC clearance.

As an officer for Assist, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for unparalleled service and safety.

Pay Rate:

£18.26 per hour


Shift Pattern:

This project will go through multiple phases. We require officers who are willing to be flexible for the first 4/6 months. After those months the shifts will move to 4 on 4 off Days / Nights available.


11 weeks:

• Saturday & Sunday.

After 11 weeks:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid SIA licence
• Security / Door Supervisor / Close Protection
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Be responsive to the clients need and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
• Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures.
• Professional & Personable.
• Immaculate presentation.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• 5Year employment / educational history.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in security
• Able to attain SC clearance.
• Preference but not a requirement
• Currently SC Cleared
• Worked previously in an environment that requires SC clearance or another type of UK Government security vetting.

What checks are involved:

• Successful completion of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
• Completion, by the individual, or a security questionnaire.
• A departmental/ company records check which will include, for example personal files, staff reports, sick leave returns and security records.
• A check of both spent and unspent criminal records.
• A check of credit and financial history with a credit reference agency.
• A check of Security Service (MI5) records.
• Exceptionally, if there are any unresolved security concerns about the individual, or if recommended by the Security Service, the individual may also be interviewed.
• In the event of any unresolved financial concerns, the individual may also be required to complete a separate financial questionnaire so that a full review of personal finances can be carried out.
• Checks may extend to third parties included on the security questionnaire.
