We are looking for a Practice Support Manager to work at our Dental Practice in South- East Manchester.

We will be looking to recruit an enthusiastic full time Practice Support Manager to work under the direction of the Regional manager.

*Job Role*: Ensure the efficient day-to-day management of the practice.

The person needs to be able to demonstrate the following qualities; -* Lead by example

  • Be approachable at all times
  • Work to deadlines and manage own workload/diary
  • Attend Practice manager meetings
  • Attend regular meetings with line manager
  • Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
  • Provide support and training to other staff when required
  • Full Driving licence preferred not essential
*Personnel: - Encourage, motivate and support staff

  • Create a friendly and professional working environment
  • Make line manager aware of all disciplinary and grievance policy issues
  • Keep and monitor staff records particularly with regards to sickness, absence, annual leave and time owing
  • Weekly registers monthly time sheets for wages forward to head office to coincide with relevant deadlines
  • Running Rota system
  • Hold regular practice meetings.
*Administration: - Oversee the running of reception

  • Ensure practice administration is completed punctually and accurately
  • Ensure the completion of clinical data sheets in accordance with H&S and CQC
  • Check Post and forward to head office on a regular basis
  • Invoices to scanned on receipt bank as per deadline
- statements to be forwarded to head office

  • Daily Housekeeping of appointment book
  • Organising the recall system a month in advance for all patients
  • Act as first point of call for practice complaints & forward to the complaints department at the Support Office.
  • Work at other practice locations from time to time as required
*You will also be required to complete any duties/tasks deemed necessary by the Regional manager.
