Main Purpose:


  • To support on daytoday corporate finance related matters.
  • Manage an efficient, costeffective finance function consistent with modern accounting approaches, legislation, and parent company policy and protocols.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the company's finances and supervise team to oversee all financial activities, ensuring the delivery and reporting of all agreed financial targets

Responsibilities:


  • Supervision of immediate Finance staff, reporting to the Finance Manager
  • Preparing and producing monthly Profit & Loss statements
  • Balance sheet, Credit card and corporate bank reconciliations
  • Posting invoices
  • Raising & authorising bank payments
  • Credit control
  • Intercompany bank transfers and corresponding Sage Journals
  • Uploading and updating direct debit payments from customers

Person Specification

  • Good knowledge of SAGE accountancy packages and excel
  • Producing P&L documents
  • Relevant previous experience
