ASD Teaching Assistant

Location:
Prestwitch

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Pay rate:
£75 - £85 per day

Are you an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant seeking a role in a mainstream primary school? Are you committed to enhancing the learning experience of children with additional needs?

If so, please read on

Tradewind are on the hunt for a talented Learning Support Assistant who can provide ASD support to a child in early years.

We are looking for someone who has experience supporting children with challenging needs, and can incorporate "firm but fair" approachto learning.

Judged to be "Outstanding" in their latest Ofsted inspection

A small EYFS provision based in a beautiful location in Central London

The school encourage indoor and outdoor learning

Kind and caring staff

Casual clothing is allowed

About the role:
Support a group of children in EYFS with ASD

Prepare and deliver intervention sessions

Plan activities in line with the pupils' EHCP

Support other pupils in class where necessary

Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons

Requirements:

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential

Minimum 3 months of experience working with children in a childcare or education setting

Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

You must have the legal right to work in the UK
