I am currently recruiting for a Full Time Customer Service/Collections Agent for my client based in Greater Manchester.

Monday - Friday

Salary:
£22,500 per year + commissions

My client owns and operates regulated and non-regulated multi-utility networks across the UK,which includes electricity, water and wastewater, alongside heating, cooling and hot water services.

They are looking for a Customer Service/Collections Agent to be part of their growing Collections team.

This role will be part of a multi skilled team of Customer Service/Collection agents with the key responsibility to deliver great customer interactionsthrough both inbound contact and outbound dialling on a day-to-day basis.

Contacting their commercial & domestic customers who may need support with their outstanding balances.

The role offers the opportunity to participate in all aspects of cash collectionsuch as telephony activity, customer correspondence, process design and disconnections.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Responsible for all commercial and domestic collection's activities for all services across the Leep Utilities portfolio in order to mitigate any bad debt risks.
Work within an existing skilled team to promote great customer interactions and outcomes

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Good understanding of Customer Service/Collections best practices and ability to deliver a variety of approaches to meet both customer and business needs
Excellent communication skills that promote great customer conversations
Good core IT skills inclusive of knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and mail merge facilities
Excellent Negotiation skills in order to collect the arrears in line with legal and regulatory practices.
