Solace is an innovative, exciting, grassroots charity working across London.

Our purpose is to bring to an end the harm done through domestic and sexual violence to all survivors, particularly women and children.

Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.

About the Service
The WiSER Project (Women's Safe Engagement and Recovery Project) began in April 2018 and works across 8 London Boroughs. The service provides an intensive outreach intervention and model of support for women experiencing VAWG and severe multiple disadvantages.

The service aims to improve outcomes across the following key areas of clients' lives:
access to support and services, health and safety, economic wellbeing, opportunities to enjoy and achieve.

About the Role

_They changed my life and they put me in the right direction. Everything, absolutely everything. Housing, hospital, access, everything (WiSER Client, Years one and two)._
The work is an assertive outreach caseworker role; an Advocate will be responsible for supporting 5 women in Barnet. Support provided is intensive and the women worked with will have a history of non-engagement with services.

About You

  • An Advocate/Case Worker with experience in both Violence Against Women and Girls and Multiple Disadvantage
  • Hard working, persistent, resilient
